The curriculum of the Junior Secondary School (JSS) includes all of the basic subjects which enable students to acquire knowledge and foundational skills for the senior secondary school. In line with the Federal Ministry of Education’s directive, the subjects offered at the junior secondary come from two components of Core Subjects and Elective Subjects. The main subjects and electives are:
The main subjects:

Our Senior secondary school classes 1-3 are split in 3 departments – Arts, Sciences and Social sciences. The maximum number of subjects a student can take is nine. However, in SS 1 students are allowed the choice of offering more than nine. From SS2 they then drop the excess subject(s).
At the end of their SS3, OCAC College students can write the following examinations:

- National Examination Council Certificate (NECO)
In addition to the government approved curriculum, we prepare our students for life after secondary school by empowering them with entrepreneurial skills like Craft classes and environmental education which include waste management and recycling classes.
