Scholarship Beneficiaries

At OCAC College, students who pass our scholarship exams are not required to pay school fees. They are provided with textbooks, two school uniforms, stationery, and sportswear by the school.

It costs OCAC College ₦3.2 million to fund a student’s education from JSS1-SS3 for boarders and ₦1.4 million to fund a day student from JSS1 -SS3. From 2015 -2020, OCAC college has successfully funded the education of 120 students with a total of ₦204 million. Of these number of students, 80% have gone on to attend prestigious universities like the University of Abuja, Ekiti State University, Federal University, Wukari, FCT College of Education, Zuba, Amadu Bello University, Zaria.

My name is Britus Grace Chisom. I am Thirteen years old and I am in Grade Ten (10), in OCAC Secondary School
Guzape, Abuja. My best subject in school is the English Language because it helps me to learn new words every day and therefore helps me to improve my vocabulary.

I like OCAC College because it has a very competent Teaching Staff and though I have only been in the school for one term, I can say that the teaching here is wonderful. As a matter of fact, due to the quality of
the teaching, I earned a Scholarship this term.

I love to sing and read and I would like to become a Fashion Designer and an Actress in the future.

My name is Mmesoma Ikechukwu Precious. I am a fourteen years old girl from Anambra State, an Igbo speaking tribe in Nigeria.

My parents are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Amaka Ikechukwu and we practice Christianity.

I am a student of SS2 in OCAC Secondary School
Guzape, Abuja – FCT and my hobbies are Dancing, Singing, Watching Movies, etc.

I aspire to become a journalist in the future. Not just a common one but rather one that always stands for the truth no matter be the cost or consequence might be.

I am Tomaye Amachree, a Fifteen years old, student of SS2 in OCAC Secondary School Guzape Abuja – FCT.

I am a Christian by religion and I love my family. I aspire to become a Neurosurgeon in the future, inspired by Dr. Ben Carson. The main reason why I would like to be a Neurosurgeon is because I like caring for sick people.

My hobbies are dancing and caring for ill persons. I believe being exposed to the sciences will help melearn how to better care for sick people. This is the reason why I am in the science department. I look forward to being a neurosurgeon in the not too distant future.

I am Stephanie Agugu and I am sixteen years old. My parents are Mr. and MRS. Agugu and we are from Benue State.

I am a student of SS2, in OCAC Secondary School Guzape, Abuja – FCT. I like Singing, Reading, and watching educational Movies and doing
funny things, and making jokes that will make people laugh.

My role model and motivator is my father who never relents to encourage me and does not tolerate any wrongdoing but always stands for truth. I would like to become a Lawyer in the future.

Chime Favour is my name. I am sixteen years old. I like football to such a point that it has become a sort of
motivation to me.

I am very jovial and like to joke and laugh with my friends. I also like having some good reading time, in the evening, under the bright moon.

I am actually a Christian by religion and being a Christian has been to me, the best thing that has ever happened in my life. My mum is my role model and my self-motivation. She is the reason why I try at all cost to attain the highest summits in my life. In fact, my greatest ambition is to become a surgeon in the future. Though I know it is a tough Journey I embark myself in, putting my mind toward it shall always make it easier.

My name is Precious Gold Ejembi. I am eleven
years old and a JSS2 student in OCAC Secondary School Guzape, Abuja – FCT.

I finished my Primary Educational studies at Aschebachi Best Brain Academy. My best subject in school is Mathematics but I would like to study Law in the
future because I would like to become a Lawyer. This is because I have the ambition to fight against Rape, Kidnapping, and Armed robbery because of
all the damages they cause to the Nigerian society.

I am Lawrence Marvelous Chinemerem from Nnewi North Local Government Area, Anambra State. I was born
in October 2009 and I live with my Parents in Asokoro village, Abuja.

I am The Vice – Governor of JSS2 in OCAC Secondary School Guzape Abuja – FCT. I believe my school is one of the best schools in the area simply because it has a good range of extra-curriculum activities; a very Competent Teaching Staff and a good board of counseling. Above all things, I am very confident in myself because I believe I can always make it.

Hi, I am Audu Aishat Ahuoiza. I am Twelve years old and I am a student of JSS3 in OCAC Secondary School Guzape, Abuja – FCT. I come from a family of five people and live with my Parents in Asokoro Extension, Abuja.

My favorite colour is white, and my best subjects in schools are: Mathematics, English Language, BST, RNV and French. My hobbies are: Reading, writing, skipping and Running.

I would like to become a Newscaster when I grow up, and I believe in becoming an exceptional one, that will positively impact society by encouraging the youth to always give the best they can to enhance the development of their communities.

Hi, my name is Chinaza Ikeh. I am a nine years old Nigerian girl from a family of six: my Mum, my Dad, my two brothers and I. we all live in Abuja.

I am a JSS1 student of OCAC Secondary School Guzape, Abuja – FCT and I am dark in complexion. My best friend’s name is Faith and I love her because she is very caring and smart.

I enjoy eating fried rice, chicken and salad. My best colours are pink and white. I like reading and writing; dress up Games; Skipping; Temple run and Monkey. I aspire to become a Lawyer in the future and I would
like to be among the best for my family to be very proud of me.

My name is Charity Emmanuel Nwosu. I am a ten years old young boy, student of JSS1 in OCAC Secondary School Guzape, Abuja.

I am from a family of six members and I live with my Parents, brothers and sisters in Lokogoma ABUJA – FCT. My favorite meal is Jollof rice with salad.

I like Hour of code Game and Mine craft. My best colours are blue and white. I particularly thank OCAC for the Scholarship they granted me because it has really changed my life.

Hello, my name is Confidence Luka. I was born on the 17th June 2009 in Kafanchan, Kaduna State. I am an Eleven years old student of JSS2 in OCAC- Secondary School Guzape Abuja – FCT.

I am from Kaduna State, Jema’a Local Government Area. The firstborn in a family of three children. I have two junior sisters and live with my parents. I had my primary education in Excellent Diamond International School. My favorite meal is rice and once a grown-up person, I would like to become a doctor.

I am Emmanuel Peter Ekeh. A young Nigerian boy of ten years; dark in completion and from Ebeh Ohafia Local Government Area, Abia State. I have three siblings: Praise Fiod, Joy and Favour. I love them all as well as I love my Parents very much for who they are, and because they always put me through when needed.

I am a student of JSS1, in OCAC Secondary School Guzape, Abuja – FCT. I am a Christian by religion and I fellowship with Saints of Heaven Gospel Church International. My favorite meal is rice and chicken; I like reading and writing; my best colors are red, blue and green. In the future, I would like to become an ICTs Engineer.

I am Bitrus Faith. A ten years old young girl living in Kpaduma II, Guzape District, Abuja – FCT. I am a student of JSS1 at OCAC Secondary School Guzape, Abuja. My best subjects in school are Mathematics and English Language. I enjoy the English Language because it helps to improve and enrich my vocabulary while Mathematics helps me to increase my I.Q.

My name is Abiodun Onorinde Success. I am twelve years old and a student of JSS3 in OCAC Secondary School Guzape, Abuja. I come from a family of six members and live with both my parents, my brothers, and my sisters in Kpaduma I,
Abuja – FCT.

My role models are my parents and my uncle because they always encourage me to do well in my studies, by asking me to work very hard in school. As a result, I came 3rd place last term and intend to take the 1st position this term in my class. In the future, I would like to become an Engineer and I will do all my best to be among the best, in order to make my parents proud of me.
